A Spot of Color

When I was growing up my grandparents owned a plot of land up on Larch Mountain in the Columbia gorge. One of my fondest memories of this place is the rich damp smell of the earth. The forest floor was carpeted in bright green deer grass (which us kids nibbled on as well), crisp colorful fall leaves and unique species of fungi. This painting is dedicated to my memories of this special place.

Please stand 10 feet (3 meters) back from a wall
